Jaroslav Střeštík, a long-term member of the Board of Directors of the NIX.CZ, has passed away

Jaroslav Střeštík, a long-term member of the Board of Directors of the NIX.CZ and a prominent figure in the Czech networking community, succumbed to health complications associated with COVID-19 yesterday.

"Jaroslav Střeštík has been a member of NIX.CZ and served as a member of the Board of Directors for more than eight years. It is therefore a great credit to him that NIX.CZ is one of the most significant organizations in its field worldwide. We were close friends, so his passing is all the more painful for me. On behalf of the entire Czech community of network administrators, I would like to express my sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. Jardo, a heartfelt thank you for your work and for who you were." said Adam Golecký on behalf of the NIX.CZ Association.
